ConServ Building Services is the service division of BCH Mechanical and handles the owner-direct service market by providing preventative and 24-hour a day emergency service. We have offices statewide including Largo, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Fort Myers.

ConServ’s primary goal is to be the service provider for life for the owner’s HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and General Construction Service needs. With one phone call to our local office or our toll-free number or via fax or email, your broad service needs can be promptly handled during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Our technical staff includes HVAC, Electric, Plumbing and General Contracting personnel. Our services are offered 24 hours a day, 365 days in the year and our average response time is within 4 hours. Our trained technicians in the required discipline are instantly alerted to your critical needs via the Nextel mobile / radio system.

The HVAC Department is a full service heating, ventilating and air conditioning network with capabilities from filter changing to annual chiller maintenance. Our HVAC technicians are located throughout the state for quick response to customers needs. ConServ’s technicians are fully versed to service and maintain chillers, all makes of mechanical equipment, computer room units like Liebert and can work on all types control systems.

Express Metals was established as a Florida Corporation in 1994 and prior to that was the sheet metal affiliate of BCH Mechanical, Inc. since 1976. Express Metals is an independent full service sheet metal contractor providing both fabrication and installation of sheet metal ductwork. With one of the most efficient computerized operations in the industry, we coordinate detailed job costing control and estimating with direct ties to our shop and field operations for precise analysis of all aspects of our projects. Our state-of-the-art automated fabrication shop utilizes a Vulcan plasma cutting system and a multi-gauge coil line. Our computerized drafting department features the latest Auto-cad software with full engineering capability and direct download to the plasma cutter.

With our fully automated fabrication shop and over 200 installers in the field, we produce over three million pounds of sheet metal annually and have the capacity for more! Our fleet of over thirty trucks and flatbed/tractor-trailer delivery vehicles insure prompt response and smooth material transfer.

Test and Balance

The Test and Balance Division of BCH Mechanical, Inc. is a member of the NEBB and performs testing, adjusting, and balancing of the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and subsystems so they perform at the design intent and operate at an optimum level.

After the equipment start-up has been performed, and all systems are operational (including clean filters being installed, diffusers and grilles installed, all control components 100% operational, etc), our Test and Balance team can begin the Test and Balance phase. During testing and balancing, they perform agency tests and balance each system and subsystem, including the control system, and documents the results of each test. If acceptable performance cannot be achieved because of system or construction deficiencies, the test data will be documented in writing to the appropriate responsible parties, so that corrective action can be taken. If the system is fine after the completion of Test and Balance work, a test and balance report is submitted to the engineer, project owner and/or general contractor.

The final Test and Balance report is a complete record of the HVAC system performance, including conditions of operation, items outstanding, and any deviations found during the Test and Balance process. The final report also provides a reference of actual operating conditions for the owner and/or service personnel.
